I really love the fit of these jeans and the concept of the company. I've been a die hard Levi's guy for decades, but find the fit of these is way better, hands down! I plan on purchasing another pair in the near future, as well as some other items I've been eyeing on their website.

I've only worn these jeans 3-4 times since I received them last week but I like them so far. They are accurate to the description provided when I was shopping for them, fit as expected, and look great. The quality of the material and stitching appears to be excellent. I'd say these jeans are less stretchy than I'm accustomed to but selvedge denim is known to wear in nicely over time.

A joy to behold and to wear in many respects.
Nice weight of material, sturdy but not scratchy.
Strong, well-finished stitching.
Deep, rich raw denim colour (though unwashed so far - and I hope for at least six months!)
Pleasingly simple hardware, unobtrusive logo.
But...
I ordered a size 30", my true waist size, and they were listed as "Fitted to the waist".
Nuh-uh.
When I first put them on, they hugged my thighs just fine, neither too tight nor too loose. However, when I put both thumbs in around the waist, I estimate there was at least an inch, maybe even two, of spare room. And possibly even more around my actual waist, since they're more mid-rise than high-rise, and sit just below my bellybutton rather than on my true waistline.
Correspondingly, I hadn't enough junk in the trunk to fill out the rear end of them. Hence the 4-star rating.
Overall, I'm pretty happy. I've kept them, suitably cinched with a belt. Plus, they may conform to my shape over time, especially once shrunk in the wash. I will sit in the bath wearing them, to ensure they still fit the rest of me afterwards, especially around the thigh area.
My advice: if you're looking for slim, real slim waist-to-toe, there are better fits around. But these jeans are worthy contenders in the quality, "quiet branding" stakes.

I've been a Levi's style skinny jeans guy forever. But these salvage slim fit are really good! The stiffer denim makes for a comfortable and functional fit. The craftsmanship is top notch. I was a bit skeptical before receiving my jeans because I own a blanket shirt and it is the smallest size they make and still feels too baggy for my build. But the jeans are not like that. I'm a 5'9, fit & slender surfer and the proportions of the 28x30 are great!
