As an avid fashionista, sustainable clothing nerd, and wannabe adventurer, I’ve been eyeing the blanket shirt for a couple years and finally nabbed the one in camo. I’ve worn it a few times now, as well as ruthlessly stuffed it into a go bag as a backup layer on hikes and outings. It’s a well made garment with intentional construction and a unique weave that has some of the heft & warmth of a mid-weight flannel while also some of the breathability of a more casual button up. Also very comfy. Can work as a midlayer/light jacket or completely on its own.

If you’re inbetween sizes like me (I straddle the zone between M and L), definitely get the smaller size unless you like your shirts very boxy. I got a medium and, even after washing, it fits as I’d like it to.

Knocked one star because it’s overvalued if not on sale. A good shirt indeed but just a shirt nonetheless. Glad I have it but not as remarkable and iconically fundamental as the advertising would have you believe.

This shirt is perfect for travel across the globe! I wear this with tanks tops or t-shirts traveling on planes, getting outa the water after marine conservation projects, fire side chats camping, skydiving, night shoots on feature film sets...you name it! Love this shirt!

I reached out to my daughter with a message, sharing my minor worry about practically living in my treasured blanket shirt. She had just been gifted her own soft and cozy version for Christmas and replied, assuring me that wearing it often is perfectly fine. Feeling at ease with her comforting words, I treated myself to a blissful nap, wrapped snugly in the comforting warmth of my most beloved blanket shirt.

I’ve washed it once in cold water and I have to say it feels pretty great. Nice and thick without being ~too~ thick.

I can see why they call it a blanket shirt. I wore it on a motorcycle ride on Sunday. We left in chilly temperatures but it got a lot warmer as the day went on so I was able to take off this Outerknown shirt and put it in my saddlebag but it was a great comfy layer between my T-shirt and my motorcycle jacket during the cold morning hours. I like it a lot!

I can tell I’m going to be wearing this over a T-shirt a lot and I can roll the sleeves down and button it up when I’m a little colder and unbutton it and leave it open over the T-shirt and roll the sleeves up when I’m a little warmer. Comfy and versatile.
