I love your Ambassador SEA jeans and this was my first purchase of a Drifter Tapered pair. Due to the sizing comments about a little extra room in the waist, I went down a size to 32W, 34L and they fit just right. This is a very comfortable, thicker and more solid jean. Love it tons and will buy more. Great sales price to boot!

After quite some time eyeing Outerknown's denim and after owning numerous pairs of indigo or sulphur based selvedge denim, I wanted to go with a new feel and color pallete with a jean that is still decently weighty. At 13.5oz, Outerknown knows the sweet spot for true denim; a weight of denim that can be worn year round that will develop some nice creases and fades due to its heft but also take longer to develop those creases and fades because it is a mid-weight denim.
I received these bad boys yesterday and I am legitimately impressed by the feel of the jeans. The fit is also on point and while the waist is slightly big for me, everything else is perfect. The waist will however, shrink slightly after the first wash so they are an absolutely perfect pair of jeans.
For reference, I am 5'10, 175-180 with a 34.5" measure waist. I ordered a 33 based on their size guide, but due to the fact Outerknown does not display the exact waist measurement (I wish they would), I went by the hip measurement of my best fitting pair of jeans but also added about .25" - .5" to the hip due to the inevitable shrinkage.

These jeans look great. I can wear them to work where I'm not supposed to wear blue jeans, because they look more like chinos. However, they don't fit my body perfectly. I wear 32" waist and 34" length. The waist and length are mostly good, but they are slightly loose in the waist, and too tight in the inner thigh and groin area when I walk. (Maybe my thighs are a little thicker in that area because I do CrossFit?) I need to wear them with a belt, which is fine. I tried putting them on wet and walking around in them to stretch them out, which seemed to help a bit. I'm assuming they'll stretch out more in the inner thighs and conform to my body over time.

Fits nicely at the waist. A little snug through the thigh but seems to be breaking in fairly well after wearing a few times. Fabric is not stiff at all which I appreciate. Expect to be wearing these for years to come.
