I bought my first Groovy pocket T a couple of years ago at Val Surf here in LA, CA. It was the most comfortable and best looking T I’ve ever had. Eventually a very small tear appeared at the top corner pocket, I wore it so much, lots of wear and tear, but it was well worth it. A friend quickly stitched it up and it still looks great, feels great and is the most comfortable T ever. I recently went on OuterKnown site and bought 3 more, Black, Salt and Archipelago. I’m 6ft, 175 and I like them loose fitting, I may try medium next time, just to see how my real size T fits, it might look more sporty but these Groovy Pocket Tee’s are a must have for anyone who wants to look great in a casual setting or just hanging out at home or at the beach. I’ve got family and friends now shopping for all things OUTERKNOWN!!! Shorts are next on my list, I’m eyeing the Seventyseven Cord Utility Shorts in Faded Black. Protect the environment and support fair labor. Outerknown is so much bigger than clothes, read up on their story “Progress Every Step Of The Way”!!!

The wash is really nice - looks faded in a good way. The material is nice and soft with a little stretch. However, there are problems. The size is a bit larger than expected. I usually take a medium and I’m swimming in this (5’7/170lbs). The arm holes are also oddly shaped/short as other users have mentioned. Unless you have good sized biceps, the shirt arms are gonna have a weird triangular shape.

The Groovy Tee is very soft and fits well. I am pleased with this purchase after trying the Sojourn Tee which fit a little too snug in my opinion. I would like to see more color options in the Groovy Tee, especially Heather or charcoal Heather grey! I’ve also found myself wishing the sleeves were a bit longer at times, but I prefer a looser, relaxed fit. I don’t think it would be worth sizing up though; the fit elsewhere is great, even after drying.
